What is the KlevaKlip Adjustable Bearer Support ?

Specifically designed for low decks on concrete slabs. The Adjustable Height make these a great option for when the slab is not level. Perfect to reinforce an old bearer that’s developed a bit of sag over the years…

Features:

  • Can be adjusted from 160mm to 290mm (from base to bottom of bearer) *nb threaded rod needs to be cut to achieve a height of less than 175mm
  • Galvanised
  • Suits 70mm, 90mm or 45 / 50mm Bearers
  • 120mm x 80mm Base Plate with 2 x 13mm holes
  • 24mm Heavy Duty Threaded Rod
  • 80mm x 80mm x 85mm high Gal Angle with 2 x 13mm Holes

What are the Minimum and Maximum Top of Joist heights for the  Adjustable bearer support?

Minimum top of joist heights using ABS at lowest height of 160 mm (bottom of joist)

390 mm – using 140mm bearers with 45-90mm joists on top

Maximum top of joist heights using ABS at highest height of 290 mm (bottom of joist)

670 mm – using 290mm bearers with 45-90mm joists on top

Note– the above information is a “practical” rather than an “absolute” document. There will be a number of ways to achieve the heights mentioned with different sized bearers and joists, however the installer should always be mindful to operate within the KlevaKlip product parameters and relevant joist/bearer span tables.
